Tuesday, October 05, 2004  Commence the unfreezing process  Vice-presidential debates tonight; I guess they're thawing out Edwards and Cheney from the underground bunkers they've been stored in for the last month. (Seriously, has either of them appeared in public for more than two minutes since the conventions?) It's occurred to me that, if you combined Edwards—youthful-looking, disarmingly cheerful, and energetic—and Cheney—ancient-of-days–looking, dour, and android-like—you'd get one normal person.
